Satellite Depot
specializes in providing cellular telephone service,
high-definition televisions (HDTV), UHF/VHF TV installations,
and the sales and
installation of satellite TV systems. Owned by Jim
Boisclair, All-State
Satellite Depot has been at
its current location at 1402 Broadway in Alexandria for
more
 than three years.
According to Boisclair, one of the things that makes All-State Satellite
different from other
businesses that provide the same
type of services, is the store's focus on taking the
time to talk to its customers and find out what their
needs are. "We pride ourselves the most on qualifying
each and every
customer separately," he said. Boisclair
also noted that many customers enjoy the friendliness of
the store's staff as well as the fact that they don't
use high-pressure sales tactics. "Your first visit with
us is as a customer," he said, "Your second visit is as
a friend." In addition, Boisclair emphasized that the
store's staff includes certified technicians and three
generations of experience in the electronics industry.
All-State Satellite was also awarded Dish Network's
"Elite Advantage Dealership Award" in 2003 for the
quality of its installations and customer service, he
added. All-State Satellite has recently doubled the size
of its retail space and now offers HDTVs, DVD players,
VCRs and home theater systems. According to Boisclair,
HDTV, with its wider and sharper image, is the future of
television.
